This is the first year of the Outside Lands fest. I will be there. I am pretty excited. I do have an extra real nice hotel room if you could use it. The hotel is the Holiday Inn Fishermans Wharf. It looks VERY nice. Price is only $99 per night (includes tax). The hotel website charges $215 PLUS tax.
Unfortunately the rumor I have heard is that ticket sales for this festival have been abysmal. I hope they hang in there.
As will I. It sucks that the ticket sales are down but I am figuring that a lot of people are just going to see Radiohead at the Hollywood Bowl the next night. I do hope that It won't be a repeat of Bonnaroo NW where they just cancel the damn thing. (though that was different circumstances) There is another thread on this else where on the board.
