I downloaded a flac file of a few bonnaroo shows and want to put them on my ipod. What is the best way to do this without taking up too much room (i.e. the my morning jacket show is over 1GB as a flac file and over 2 as a Wav file). Thanks for any help that can be had.

convert to mp3. You can do this with itunes
edit: or you can just visit the Troo Music Lounge > Downloads > MP3 uploads thread and grab it already in a 320 kbs mp3 format if you wish. That'll work too

You can convert from FLAC to MP3 in iTunes? Could you tell me how? I have been using FLAC frontend to convert to WAV and then Switch to convert to MP3..........

Yeah, sorry I wasn't clear with that description... I apparently only managed to throw down the first part of my thought
I meant that after you convert the flac to wav using whatever you'd like (I use winamp) you could open the wav files in itunes and convert those to mp3.
