This was probably my favorite set of the weekend. I doubt that anyone who was there wouldn't rank it in their top three. Somebody better have recorded it.
well, let us hope that someone got this show....easily in top 3. until then, i did manage to get some video of "the weight" from my humble olympus camera. it is the first thing on my bonnaroo album. man, i love levon helm.
hhmm....hold that thought. i can't get the video to play on flickr. maybe that's cuz flickr doesn't play videos on my free acount....damn. i shall try elsewhere...

im no good at taping. my body has to move when music approaches. i tried.

I saw about 2 or 3 tapers, but maybe I wasn't that observant. I really want to hear this show again. This show was in my top 3 (with MMJ and PJ). I danced my ass off to Ophelia.
Well...... to tide y'all over until the show turns up....... here's some Levon on Youtube. Wow, that was such a good show. I still have yet to find anybody who saw it and wouldn't rank it in their top 3.

I know he is super-strict about not letting tapes of the ACTUAL Rambles circulate. A friend posted his on a blog and within the hour had an email from Levon's management asking him to take it down. I hope they're not as strict with the Rambles on the Road, but if they are any tapes that circulate will have to do so underground.

Your picture of Sammy Davis has the back of my head in it. Sweet I had no pictures of me at Bonnaroo but now I found on of me, Sammy Davis, Levon Helm, and Larry Cambell. Hell Yay.
There are many reasons why I kinda of expected the recording to be out there including it was a great show, there were confirmed tapers, it was Bonnaroo, and did I mention it was a great show. Your right I will live but I will live happier with the recording. I will wait if I have too though.
