it was my first time last year, i was 18 and my friend was 17, i researched as much as i could about it but we weren't very responsible at all and we survived and i had the time of my life... just saying
age is just a number. it's experience that counts.
If you haven't been to a large festival before, your best bet is trying to go with someone who has. If you don't know anyone who has been to a festival before, try and meet up with some people from here. I will admit that I have not met many people from the boards in person, but the few I have met have all been incredibly friendly and helpful (Troo's shade he sold us save our lives, thanks again buddy). You don't need someone to hold your hand or anything, but it's nice to have someone to help you get used to the atmosphere.
Like I said, age is meaningless. If a 16 year old has been to even one major festival, they will be better prepared than a 35 year old who is a festie-virgin.
