I have an old college friend you left the rat world of database development, software, and purchased an Ice Cream Store - very early mid life crisis. He has been making super premium ice cream and I heard that he is going to be on the Food Network.
The latest episode of How'd That Get on My Plate?, airing at 10:30 p.m. Monday, July 7th(Not sure about the date) on the Food Network, focuses on strawberries and includes a visit Boulder Ice Cream. Host Sunny Anderson takes an in depth look at our manufacturing operation with Scott. Make sure you tune in!
If you can get Boulder Ice Cream, check it out. It is not a corporate monster, but crafted by an old friend.

That's pretty cool! I'll have to watch for that because I'm a Food Network addict. None of the ice cream near me, though . . . but maybe some day. It looked like a bunch of them were carried by Whole Foods, and we have one of those right down the street.
We sell Boulder Ice Cream at the little gourmet grocery store I work at, and its awesome!
It has been fun to watch (at a distance) the growth of his business. He and I worked together during college and shortly there after. Glad to hear that people enjoy the ice cream.
Assuming it is airing today, this is an invalid question but…Has it been fully filmed? If not it could be a “throw down w/ bobby flay.” If that was the case I would hope your friend wins because that would be cool!

^^ That's what I thought when I read this thread earlier. Let us know what happened. Thanks.
