My girlfriend & I did the free trial, which ends today. We wanted to see if it's worth cutting back on our Netflix to have both. We're still on the fence about continuing. I'm leaning pro and she's leaning anti.
The games took 1-2 days longer to ship than we'd expected, but I can't entirely blame them. My mail carrier doesn't exactly adhere to the Postman's Creed. It didn't help that their nearest distribution center to me is five states away in Pittsburgh, either. It seems a bit pricey, but I think it might be worth it compared to what I'd spend on buying games and/or renting them from a brick&mortar store.
She wasn't quite satisfied, but I'm still open to the possibility. So the decision (and expense) is on me. That being the case, your opinions would be appreciated Anyone out there use(d) GameFly and have a review, one way or another?

I have it. We had it before and quit but restarted recently when we bought an XBox.
I like that we don't have to worry about returning them on time because I'm really bad at returning things on time. (Which reminds me, I need to send back Lost, cuz it kinda sucked.) I think its good if you like quest games. When we get them at the video store, it seems like they take too long to finish within the rental period, but then you don't want to buy them because then once they are done, they're done. I also like that some of the games have the "keep it" option, so that you can try it out and keep it if you like it . . . but it seems like a lot of the XBox games don't have that option yet.
They've got a pretty good selection, and you may be right about it being your mail carrier's fault because we usually get ours pretty quick (they usually receive the ones we send back within a day or two, and we usually get a new one within a day or two after that), but I think the closest center is pretty close to us, so that may be why.
All in all, I like having it BUT we still end up getting games from Blockbuster every once in awhile because we are both very impatient people.
I know what you're talking about. I got a Wii about six weeks ago, have eight games and am already itching for more.
We got Trauma Center and Super Paper Mario. I only played Trauma Center once, but I was getting into Paper Mario. It's fun but I know I'd lose interest once I beat it, and probably wouldn't buy it for that reason.
I'd been thinking about getting it as well. I have netflix and love it. If I do get it it will be during the winter when I usually play video games. During the summer I'd rather be playing disc.

Have done Gamefly for awhile. I think its very worth it, esp if you have several different platforms. They have it now where once the post office scans that bar code, they send out your next game. Called fast track. They just opened up some more distr. ctrs. too.
Looking at it from a hrs of entertainment vs. money for a month-its good...depending on how much you like to play.
My son and I get the co-op games and love playing together. Good to see him and his friends play together too. What buddies! I have ensnared some of my friends into playing and now they cant stop. Muuaahhhh!
If you have a PS2, get Sniper Elite and play co-op with somebody-(pref. corn involved.) Head shot scenes are great. You will be effin HOOKED! Tricky-tricky-gotta use your brain-or you DIE like a pig.
Vid games are effin awesome (most)...and yeah...a teacher said it. gasp!
