My wife and I are making a gift basket for our best friends who live in a small city on the middle of nowhere so that he can go to pharmacy school. They feel really disconnected and lonely, so we wanted to cheer them up or give them something to do. They also have a newborn. Without really knowing anything about them, would any one have any good suggestions for a gift basket?

Thanks for starting this thread! It occupied much of my workday. Also, I just bought one of those Vinyl Record Bowls (and a Vinyl Record Party Tray) for my aunts and uncles for Christmas!
