Two big thumbs up from me - Weezer rocks. Yeah, The Red Album is kinda weak (I wouldn't say it sucks, but it's not one of their better ones), but I'd love to see them play Bonnaroo. Pinkerton and The Blue Album are both fantastic records.

I'd love to see the Weez there. I've seen them twice and their shows, while nothing groundbreaking, are a lot of fun for fans, with plenty of the older songs.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
Big no from me... they haven't put out anything half decent, IMO, since Pinkerton and I think that they'd require a big spot, and probably a spot better saved for something else.
No. Absolutely not. I used to be a huge fan when I was a kid, but these guys have put out nothing but pure garbage since Pinkerton. Their music these days is a complete waste of time, and they only continue to make it because people buy into their bullhonkey. I don't agree with supporting who they are as a group today, and I think it would be an ignorant move for superfly to waste such a large spot on such a lousy band, especially when there are countless competent musicians who deserve it much more.
I hardly ever discourage people from listening to what they want to, but c'mon people. We're supposed to be some of the most mature music fans in the US. We're the same group that begs for a Tom Waits appearance year after year, gave Radiohead one of their best show experiences of all time, and we house a member of the dead every year. And yet here we are asking for the one band that pretty much represents everything awful that the music industry has become. I guess I just don't get it. . . that's all.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

As much as it pains me to say no, no. For a period of 3 or 4 years Weezer was my favorite band, but now I've seen them in concert and listened to Make Believe, and I can't take those scars away. While I generally defend the Green Album and Maladroit as being decent albums, I can't express how bad Make Believe and the Red Album are without cursing my way to a ban from this forum. And, at least on the occasion when I saw them in concert, they were utterly lethargic.
