Well, actually, I need suggestions for ways to reward myself. I am trying to lose some weight, and I want to set some goals with rewards. For example, when I hit my final goal, I think I'm going to get a tattoo to celebrate my achievement . . . and as a constant reminder to keep control over my weight. I figure I've got about a year or so before I get there, though, so I'm trying to think of some ways to reward myself along the way and keep up my motivation. Anybody got any suggestions?

Great ideas so far! Karma to everyone when I can.
I'm definitely doing a spa treatment one! I've always wanted to get a professional massage, so that will be a good one!
A concert ticket
I wish I had enough willpower to hold off on buying concert tickets and using them as a reward! I just bought tickets to Louis CK and Gogol Bordello today, leaving me pretty broke! But I rarely treat myself to CDs or records, so I think when I lose my first full inch (I don't have a scale, so I'm going by size, not weight), I will splurge on a trip to the record stores in Little Five Points!
Do you have a significant other? Have them reward you
I do, and I will! ;D
for me, that feeling you get when you grab that old shirt and it fits again is reward enough.
This is true. I actually lost about 35 pounds a few years ago, and then gained it all back and then some. I kept a bunch of my skinny clothes, though, and I'm going to be soooooo happy to get back into some of them!
I was doing the same thing! Well, kind of. I really wanted an expensive necklace. So I started a savings account just for this. In addition to my regular weighings, I weighed myself on the first of the month and for every pound lost, I put $1 into that account. Then at each 10lb mark, I'll add another $10. So I could see the money piling up and then my reward wouldn't end up being all that expensive.
