Here in Bloomington, Indiana we have a Roller Derby league. I went to a bout last night and had a blast. Apparently it is making a huge comeback. I was wondering how many of you go to bouts or have teams in your town.
If you have teams near you make sure you go. With announcers with names like D ick smack and skaters with the name Kaka Caliente and knock other skaters with similar odd names out by “bootie bumps” it is a night to drink a beer and have fun.
We have the Bloomington Bleeding Heart Roller Girls with teams of The Flatliners, Farm Fateles, and the Slaughter Scouts.

well clato if we come up to evenville to visit meg's fam we may need to take that extra trip and come visit....her grandmother lives just outside of bloomington...
This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo

I do love Bloomington. My grandmother has lived in Brown County all my life - it is beautiful!!! Sadly - she and her husband are really getting up in age and while they love visits - it also tires them out. The rest of my family is in Evansville - my mom & dad both graduated high school there and tons of my cousins are still there.
Wilmington has a league! The girl i'm talking to now plays for them...which is hilarious because she's all of 5"2, and very petite. Apparently that's not a bad thing though because it puts her center of gravity lower and makes it easier for her to get underneath other girls ribs. Brutal!
"We're no longer called Sonic Death Monkey. We're on the verge of becoming Kathleen Turner Overdrive, but just for tonight, we are Barry Jive and his Uptown Five. "
This is what I needed in high school! I always envied the hockey and football guys. What I wouldn't have given to shove someone into a wall - but in basketball they call that a foul. (Please note: My desire to inflict pain would be much more amusing if you knew me personally and had experienced for yourself the "cute" personality I have been cursed with. Here it just sounds scary.)
Too bad I can't skate; they have a league in Richmond. Extra-curriculars anyone?
Richmond Va has two teams The Ricmond Derby Demons and The River City Rollergirls. I found this ( www.derbyroster.com/ ) to make it a bit easier to find out if you have one.

Watchin' a stretch of road, miles of light explode. Driftin' off a thing I'd never done before. Watchin' a crowd roll in. Out go the lights it begins. A feelin' in my bones I've never felt before...
