If anyone can help me with this trick, i would greatly appreciate it. I can't get the hoop from my knees up to my waist. I have watched the video on you tube like 1000 times and i have been trying and trying. I am getting really frusturated. So if anyone has any tips for this trick I would greatly appreciate it.

i can do it...but i cant explain how... i just naturally can move the hoop...its not a very useful skill so dont be envious..
try bending your knees a little more and swinging a little more dramatically then dip down about one more inch so that the higher part of your leg hits the hoop. when your leg hits the hoop raise up a slighlt bit- the contact of the hoop on the higher part of your leg should swing the hoop up a bit. thats the best i can explain it. you sorta have to "sling" it up by using the contact of your leg.

FYI - Hula Hooping is not like riding a bicycle - once you hit 40, you forget how to do it. Either that or the body just flat-out rejects the motion....
