I honestly had no idea, though. I knew I still had my water bottle in my backpack in the closet, but I had no idea that just about everything else was still there, too! I went to get it and we're talkin' balloons, souvenirs, a nasty Minute Maid lemonade bottle I bought before Gogol Bordello and really should have thrown away immediately, the tons of rope I took and didn't use, the underwear I didn't wear, and various personal hygiene things. There was all sorts of crap. I still haven't done anything with it.
At least I know what happened to my favorite bra!
Anyone else still have a pile of Roo crap stuffed somewhere? Or am I just really that awful?
Thats awesome! I didn't unpack a lot of my Rothbury junk until I went camping about a month later. I guess I didn't really unpack then. I just pulled everything out and repacked it.
I learned my lesson after langerado's rains. I unpacked about a week and a half after roo. its much more pleasant airing things out sooner rather than later. Phew....
I am unpacked NOW, but I will say that my large Bonnaroo pile lived in my garage until late July, and that a smaller pile until recently had it's own spot on my bedroom floor. The one in the bedroom had things like duct-tape, batteries, etc. etc. and I eventually just threw it all in a bag and put in the closet.

my stuff was wet, so not unpacking immediately when we got home was not really an option. unless i wanted moldy / stanky tents.
besides, i get antsy when there are piles of stuff around my house everywhere. my basement is *almost* out of control. but it seems like the only time i have time to do anything, it's too nice outside to be in the basement. so that may become a winter project.
I haven't fully unpacked the bag i had in the car - had things like Kashi bars, hair elastics, extra sunglasses, the car thingie to play the iPod, magazines, etc. It's still sitting in my office- things only leave it when I say, "Where the heck is my AAA card?"

Not as impressive, but I still haven't unpacked my backpack from AllGood 7/10... which was basically still packed from Bonnaroo anyway... I only realized this because I needed a flashlight and screwdriver last night, and they were in that bag along with... ?? ... a bunch'a random stuff that I think I am going to finally unpack tonight when I get home ... funny thread this is...
Since I am doing at least one fest a month this season I have several bags that just stay packed. Duct tape, stove etc... I always take the same clothes, and those I clean in between, but everything else just sits there and waits .
i unpacked this year, but last year i left my tent, airmatress, and chairs in my car till this year, it was fun whenever i had to put something in my trunk always being reminded of roo

That's how it was last year for me....I always had my tent and my chairs in my car..... This year we didn't take my car so it's not in there, but that doesn't mean I am unpacked lol.....My big plastic tub still has all kinds of misc. stuff in it.....I'm kinda concerned I think my camelback might actually have some water in it lol mmm tasty
The only reason some of it is unpacked is because I am moving haha, I fail.

I am actually looking in a bag that's in my floor with roo stuff in it. It's the bag I carried into Centeroo every day. In it is my t-shirt from the silent disco, sunglasses, disposable cameras that haven't been developed but are full, some trash....ear plugs someone gave me but I never used (going through it now), my map! (now on the wall above me), a pen, and a couple of hair ties, sun screen...yeah that's about it. Maybe I should just leave it packed.
When I came home from Roo, I laid in bed for a couple of days and then unpacked. I need to prepare my camping equipment for a potential trip to Red River Gorge in Kentucky. I think KY is such a beautiful state! There are plenty of great natural rock climbing locations I want to take advantage of before September. And Miguels Pizza! The food at that restaurant is supposed to be amazing.

i haven't unpacked either! but in my defense i didn't unpack, just repacked for all good and i will do the same thing in a few days for camp reggae. just a big pile of fest stuff in the corner of the garage. i take all the same crap so might as well leave it there til after bear creek!
one BIG mistake i know i've made is not unpacking and airing out my tent after all good. it was sooo wet. i believe i'm going to have to invest in another one before camp reggae. it started leaking after not unpacking it after bonnaroo and then using it in the rain again at all good. oh well, lesson learned...
or maybe not. heh.
i don't feel so bad knowing i'm not alone in this. i was hiding it in shame... now i'm not afraid to admit it lol ;D

i would just leave it packed if i were you....my sister and i used a perfect little backpack last year and then when we packed this year there was all the stuff from last year... it was like a treasure hunt...i bascially look at the things leading up to bonnaroo as a treasure hunt leading to the biggest baddest most great treasure there could ever be... bonnaroo!!! the bobblehead tickets led the way!!!

my tent is still in my trunk. it is all half ass rolled up too, I couldn't get it into its bag so i said F it and threw it in. I also still have my broke ass fan and lantern that i've been wanting to take back to walmart. should probably do that....

I really need to air my tent out. Still haven't done it yet. I never think about it when I'm at home. But while at work it crosses my mind. Maybe b/c that's when I visit inforoo!
I packed all our camping supplies and non-perishables in a huge air conditioner box. Seeing this post reminded me that it is still in the spare room. I just keep going into the box when I need something out of it. It will probably still be there next year unless I decide to clean out that spare room....yeah right, that won't happen.
So I thought I had unpacked from Rothbury, but I was just going through my backpack that I had used on some field work last week and I found a bunch of stuff in one of the pockets that I thought I had lost at Rothbury. Sooooo I guess my unpacking really wasn't done until today.

Mee too Deena! I have a big tote that I just leave all that shiz in until the next festival and then I just wash everything and Im good to go. Just a suggestion though, wash you bra before we meet up at the Party on the Mountain Mulberry I can't wait!!!It's only 6 days away!!!!

my friends and i had a BBQ a few weeks ago, and when i went to a Roo' friends house to pick up the cooler we had used, he opened it and said, "oh yeah..." there were a bunch of water bottles, gatorade, what used to be ham and burgers... gross..

Hah, I travelled all summer after the roo, camping off and on. My tent and a bunch of other shit is still in my trunk. I finally pulled my cooking crate out the other day, where my non-perishables and utensils were. There was some yummy jam in there I had to dig through my backpack this week too and was surprised by some of the stuff I'd forgotten was in there, like most of my panties from the last load of laundry I did at someone's house on the road. Makes sense now why I couldn't find them...
