i was at the reggae bar in downtown austin last night, and this guy gave me a flier for this festival. alex grey was my selling point. my only problem is that its the weekend right after ACL, but i'd love to make it work...even if i have to go by myself.

i met alex grey at his gallery when i visited NYC this past may. he's such an amazing man, and the true beauty of his paintings will remain unknown to those who never see them in person...seriously. they are so detailed...its like every brush stroke has a meaning. i haven't been so moved by art in my entire life.

This sounds absolutely incredible...if I wasn't already planning on going to a burn on the same weekend I would go without a doubt. I hope they do it again next year.
I really want to see Alex Grey's work in person! *sigh* one of these days
