Mhmmm! I think that they would fit well either on Sunday or during the mid afternoon on any other day, like Porvida said. I listened to their CD when it first came out and haven't in a while, so I need to go do that again. Thanks for reminding me.

I've seen them twice and definitely they would be great at 'roo. I'd want them in an afternoon slot to leave the later sets for bands with more material.
i'm trying to see these guys when they come to columbus... i would LOVE to see them at bonnaroo... RAGGED WOOD is one of my favorite songs of 2008....
next two weeks in columbus.... The Roots, ryan adams, my morning jacket, fleet foxes, the black keys... how the fuck am i supposed to go see all those good shows?
I I also heard of a new year show in Atlanta and it's Fleet Foxes and The Whigs...I'm pretty sure.

No word on Fleet Foxes. I don't know.

I know this gets away from the original intenet of this thread, buy.... BAND OF HORSES. I would be so, so happy if they were on the lineup. I was praying for them this past year, but of course it didn't happen. Hopefully it'll happen this year.
And, you should totally do the flannel. I'd probably do it, too!
I have met the guys in Fleet Foxes. They came to the store I work at to buy munchies for the road. They had done a show at Exit In the night before. Really nice guys. I asked who they were, and they said "You will not have heard of us, we are the Fleet Foxes" I knew that was going to change when I got their album.

And of course after all that is done I move back. I have this album but have yet had a chance to sit down with it. From the glimpses I catch of it I hear good things. Also reminds me that we should get Langhorne Slim on the farm.

they've been confirmed for coachella 2009...no way bonnaroo doesn't get em this year...same with band of horses...and fleet foxes should play on the same stage before band of horses...maybe not right before them, but i would think they draw a similar fanbase, so it just makes sense to me...

another thing - band of horses should be the my morning jacket of bonnaroo this year...maybe like the mmj of 04-05, maybe give em a latenight in a tent
do you think band of horses could close out the which stage on sunday, a la death cab and white stripes?
I dont think Band of Horses is quite big enough to close out the Which Stage, but definitely give them a nice sunday set. Maybe a-la The Decemberists in 07. Fleet Foxes would be a good addition too. Maybe in a mid-afternoon saturday or sunday set.
