Maybe I will just meet some more cool people like over the last couple years!
Even though when looking for a girlfriend, MUST BE ABLE TO SURVIVE BONNAROO WITHOUT THE BLOOD-CLOT CRYING runs through my mind first thing. So I guess meeting her there could save me from some pretty bad dates.....

June 2012 was my first year going to Bonnaroo. I drove down with three of my good friends (we're all from NY) We had a really shitty time getting down there it took 24 hours vs 16 hours because my friend got very sick and we had to stop at the hospital for awhile. By the time we got there we were all beat from the trip but our neighbors that we pulled up to were really cool. they turned out to be from Boston and we got along really well. Long story short I have been talking to one of those guys ever since and we plan on moving in together soon and I couldn't be happier!! It never crossed my mind that I would meet the love of my life at Bonnaroo! see ya'll next year
Ill give this post a shot. 2013 was my 3rd roo. We had a big group, I knew most of them, but not everyone until Roo. One girl was especially cute, but I had zero intention of hooking up or hitting on her or anything. The Wednesday(day before the festival started) we went to the Waffle House in Manchester that had that whole Fuse stage going on. Some crazy drugged out girl at the Waffle House told me Jack Johnson would be coming through town, I basically laughed it off and went on with my week.
Thursday night, our whole group is feeling pretty good, and I looked at the schedule to see ALO was playing at 1:30 with "special guests." My drunken self freaked out and thought to myself about the girl at the Waffle House and I told everyone in our group that we needed to be at this show because Jack Johnson would show up. Nobody believed me and I was about to go by myself, but the cute girl came with me. Out of nowhere Jack Johnson showed up, and I was unbelievably excited, so I just kissed her. That led to just an awesome weekend of sleeping in each others tent, and sleeping in a trunk of a car together, and just being all around happy, especially during the Macca show. We keep in touch, and although I don't see her as much as I want to, when I do see her, the flame seems to spark again. This was a really cliche post, but its one of my favorite roo stories.
If I ever do find a soulmate, it will most likely be at a music festival. Where else am I going to meet a man who will understand that sometimes a woman my age just has to dress up in tutus and feather boas and shake my groove thing? Who will share with me the joy of being with my festival family?
Till that happens, if it ever does, I plan to have fun, dance, party and give random hugs, maybe even kisses as I feel like it.

Funny this thread should be bumped. I have a story.
Over the holidays, my best friend from high school gave me the good news that he was engaged to his girlfriend.
They had met at Bonnaroo 2011 in the VIP area during Matt and Kim and hit it off right away. Kept in touch immediately. Started long distance relationship. Sooner or later, he moved closer to her and they moved in. Now engaged. BOOM.
It's just funny to look at life's wonderful miracles like that. If I hadn't had won the TA contest, he wouldn't have even gone to the festival and not had met his future wife.
Needless to say, he better ask me to be a groomsman!
