John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
My three favorites on that list are AC/DC, Radiohead and Paul McCartney... but since it's Roo, there needs to be at least one southern rock / jam band headliner, in which case I say Superfly should book The Allman Brothers for the motha quackin' win.
My top choice for headliner next year would be back-to-back shows by Thom Yorke and Jack White, with an hour in the middle for them to play the material they've been collaborating on. Perhaps it's only slightly more realistic than a Zep reunion show, but a guy can dream...
So far, the most wanted are Radiohead, Phish, and David Bowie... I'm actually kind of surprised with the overwhelming David Bowie support. He needs to do Roo. It would be so damned good.

Its David Bowie, nuff said. Also, i was one of the two who voted Phish and David Bowie, forgot about the song, even though it is one of my favorite Phish songs.
That list has a great set of choices. I'd say the only ones I wouldn't care for as headliners are The Beasties, Jay-Z, and Trey. Nothing against them, just not so much my thing. I'd still check them out though.

Several good options there, but Radiohead, RAtM and NIN are easily at the top of the list for me. And, yeah, I realize those were the headliners at Lolla last year, but I can't imagine ever seeing any realistic lineup that would top Lolla's lineup last year. I wasn't able to go, so I can't comment on the crowd or atmosphere, but that lineup was unbelievable.
