Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I chose the three of that list that I would enjoy the most, despite the fact that two of them would obviously fill the same Friday headlining spot.
Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, Dave Matthews Band.
Although, I'd really like to see some form of Pink Floyd. Especially Gilmour. I don't really see that happening though, as Bonnaroo likes to do original stuff and Roger Waters was at Coachella last year.

phish dead rush....everyone else ive seen or dont care to see..........personaly im not a big fan of radio head.....durring their show at lolla i just walked around and checked things out....they dont really do anything for me
I know that I'd want NIN and Bowie, the most... but I'm torn by that third slot;
I'd like Radiohead, but I've already seen them, as a headliner at Roo, but it was good enough, I could do the same again...
I'd also love Neil Young, I don't really need to go into reasoning there...
And Allman Brothers would be a fantastic Sunday night headliner, but I'm more leaning towards them getting their own late night Which Stage show...
I'm going to force myself to decide, right now... due to the risk of Roo being labeled as "wanting to be Lolla 08", I'm going to cross out Radiohead... Allman Brothers late night sounds more appealing than Sunday night, headliner, but just slightly... I guess I'm going to have to go with Neil. I've got no reason to not want him as a Saturday headliner, as he was pre-headliner (I think?) once, and I've heard the set was rather short.
Friday - Nine Inch Nails Saturday - David Bowie Sunday - Neil Young
NIN, Rage, and MMJ would make it even MORE of the ultimate headlining festie than Lolly was this year for me!! And being Roo...it would be WITHOUT the asshat crowds that made Lolly so damn annoying!
Say what you want about the "vibe" changing for the worse at Roo...till you've experienced "the vibe" somplace like Lolly...well..there really IS no comparison!

So does anyone agree that NIN and MMJ couldn't headline roo? Two of my favorites...seen them numerous times, but I mean NIN didn't even headline Lolla and thats more of Trent's crowd.

NIN headlined Sunday night @ Lolly....but other than one night Lolly ALWAYS has two headliners. Radiohead on Friday was the only non-opposed headliner this year. Each year they only have one headliner that doesn't have someone playing opposite. That's just the way Lolly is set up.....

I always hear the worst things about the Lolla crowds. Never heard overtly negative things about any other festival crowd.
Yeah...I've been to quite a few different types of festies in the last couple of years....and I have to say that by FAR...Lolly is the WORST crowd vibe I have experienced by a long shot! And it's NOT just that it's not a camping festie...or a "jam" festie or whatever.....it's just different in some hard to define way....some BAD hard to define way. LOVE the venue...LOVE the lineup...LOVE LOVE LOVE Chicago! But...the crowds just sucked!

NIN is definitely big enough to headline. I feel they are the next logical step on the heavy headliners, as long as it doesn't go to ACDC. I'm pretty surprised Radiohead has so many votes. I didn't even see them in 06', theres just too many good bands on that list for me to pick them. I also just realized really how kick ass
Fri: Rush Sat: Bowie Sun:Phish
Would be. Definitely would be the best group of headliners I have seen anywhere ever, as would a lot of the other picks here.
