So my wife and I are in the process of living out our dream and starting a mobile coffee cart to drive to festivals and serve fuel to the masses. I have vended a few festivals before and know a bit how it works bu don't know anything about how Bonnaroo works. Anybody know vending fees or anything?

I know it is high, I have a friend who's father has vended there before. I want to say 5 grand and/or 15% whichever is higher. I don't really remember though.
That seems about right. What scares me is if I remember right you had to purchase all of your plates & cups direct through them and they jack the prices way up. You keep your overhead low and 5k in 96 hours isnt bad. Its also based on how big the operation is. I know of one that pays 35k but you see those every 5 feet. We shall see.
Also that was a inside the venue lemonade stand, I am sure it is different for shakedown vending. Coffee is always good at festies but it is so hot (and I stay so trashed) at Bonnaroo I would hope you have a good iced option also. I would have killed for a ice blended coffee drink more than a couple of times last year. Of course I would have liked hot coffee in the rain at Superjam . Anyway good luck to you man, I hope I get to try some next year.
