They are large enough to put up a pretty decent sized tent and then a big shade tent. We took up a lot of room but our neighbors took up even more so it was all good!
Every year has been different for me. 03- room for my van. That's it. Good thing I was sleeping in it. There was no room for a tent. 04- space for a small army to do drills 06- space for a 10x20 (blown away during a dust devil) and three 10x10 tents 08- had to fight for space (say land grab!) for a single 10x10

I totally remember seeing that! Mostly because I remember screaming "Holy poop!" really loud. I mean, tents are a bit funny to watch (tragic, yes), but something that large is just effin scary.
Oh, and every time I've gone to Roo I've been blessed with an abundance of space. Too much space, even. So, so lucky!
