This is for anyone like myself that may have attended the MMJ show in Iowa City on October 7th. Yeah the show where Jim James fell off the stage! Anyway I got an email for Ticketmaster today about getting a partial refund. Here is what it said:
Hello, this is Ticketmaster customer service with an important alert for My Morning Jacket at the UI Recreation Building on Tuesday, October 7, 2008.
SCOPE is offering a 50% refund for the “Partial Concert” held on October 7, 2008. You will be refunded $17.00 for each ticket stub returned to the UI Recreation Building. All refunds will be processed through the box office. The ticket stub(s) need to be brought to the box office or mailed to the box office before March 1, 2009 in order to recieve the partial refund. You may mail your ticket stub to:
University Box Office 138 Iowa Memorial Union Iowa City, IA 52242 The box office needs you to include the following information: Customers Name Customers address Contact phone number Ticket Stub(s) Once the ticket stub(s) are recieved, the box office will send you a check of the amount refunded. You may expect the refund check with in 2-3 weeks. If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact Ticketmaster customer service at 800-653-8000 or Cindy at 319-335-3041.

I am on the fence here because I like having my ticket stub for my collection. At least I will get to see them again in their 1st show since that on December 27th in Chicago!

Make a photo copy of it for the record book... So when you're old and gray you can pull it out and say, "I was there when ol' Jimmy James took a spill and injured his breadbasket."
