I've already found out I cannot make it this year but I am still hoping it is a completely badass lineup and I think for the best late night show out there now that daft punk retired the pyramid JUSTICE is the best dj set out there. What are the odds these guys play the roo? I think they'll be there as well as Girl Talk who will definitely return and maybe the return of sasha and digweed
I really thought they were going to be there last year, I'll be flabbergasted, yes FLABBERGASTED if they aren't there this year. They aren't working on any new albums though, and 'Roo '09 will be 2 years after Cross....

As far as I know, Justice will not be playing any Live shows in '09. The had their last live show in I think... October? (it was advertised as such). But they are still playing DJ sets. I think the only way we will see Justice at Bonnaroo next year is if it is a DJ set. Which is a shame, since their live shows are better.
I would love to have Justice their, but if its only a DJ set, I'd rather Justice not be the flagship major electronic act. Lets let the Chemical Brothers take care of that.
I wouldnt want justice to do a live set, if they do a live set they are only gonna play their own material which would only last like an hour, if they did a dj set you get to here all the dope remixes they do plus their own tracks plus other DJ's dope tracks and club bangers and I mean really whats the diff. IMO Justice Live < Justice DJ but I wouldnt want them to be the major DJ act either.
I have to respectfully disagree here. While I understand your thinking of them being able to play a lot longer, I'd rather have an hour and a half of very good instead of two and a half of good.

yeah, i get what ur saying but their own songs are gonna sound the same either way its only a difference of how many knobs they're gonna be turning and its not like your gonna be watching/able to see what they're doing up there.

There songs and how they are mixed sound very different live vs. during a DJ set.

"MSTRKRFT"
They didn't even play a live set last year - it was cool - but if you are playing the 'Roo - you should bring it - hard...
DJ Sasha needs to be back at the the farm this year. No one has even come close to touching his sets - in 2006 and 2007 he played until 8 or 9 in the morning. Epic.

Doesn't MSTRKRFT only do DJ sets?
yeah, every mstrkrft show i've been to (and i've been to a few) was a dj set of them mixing other artists songs with their own remixes and singles. their second album is coming out next month, so i suppose they have enough material for a mstrkrft-only show, but personally i love their shows the way they are.
