funny story about dave and friends roo show. i was with my friend and we were hanging around pregaming in the campground and we got many party favors in the "yellow submarine" type category. so we got to dave and friends and i started to have a little rough time and needed water bad so i told my friend id be right back and i went to go get water. well while i was drinking my water trey went on his schpeal about phish and breaking up and whatnot and the state i was in started to cry hardcore and i couldnt stop it. so this really cool hippy came up to me and gave me a hug and told me he knew how i felt and that it would be okay and then preceded to smoke a big piece of corn with me and it made me feel better and made my night/weekend/year/life. i will never forget that kind hearted gesture. thanks man wherever you are

I believe that Phish will headline Friday night and late night Saturday or early Sunday morning, depending on how you look at it, 1:00 am to 4:30. That would make perfect sense. It would give Phish more time to play and I believe that the dudes at Superfly are going to throw one of the best Bonnaroo's ever. Bonnnaaarooooo!!!
dave and friends (with trey) is one of my favorite roo shows ever and actually one of my favorite live shows ever. i listen to it aaaaaaaaaaaallllllloooooooooooooottttttttttttttttttttttttt
They played one of my all-time favorite songs "Thank You For Letting Me Be Micelf Again". I was a happy Mojo sitting in the field for my first ever Bonnaroo headliner.

*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
Karma! That second video (Julius) was the first Phish song that I've ever really enjoyed (as opposed to just kinda sorta liking one or two songs here and there). Now I know I could get down with them - at least to some extent - if they are to play the farm.
but still.... come on. we all know rolling stone most likely got the rumor from message boards. and as for superfly not denying it why would they?? its got everyone who quit going to roo talking about buying tickets. and i see nothing in superflys history that suggests they wouldnt happily take extra sales. although they did do away with the early bird tickets for kanye and metallica. that was nice of them and avoided lots of pissed off early bird buyers. and as for the led zeppelin thing i dont remember them denying any rumors about led zeppelin. the only denial i recall is after the lineup came out and major news outlets said led zeppelin was playing instead of lez zeppelin. of course they had to act on that. but a phish rumor on the internets weeks before the lineup even comes out is a far different thing then cnn mistakenly announcing a huge headliner that is wrong as part of the intial lineup announcement. but maybe superfly did say something earlier and i just dont know about it. i didnt pay too much attention last year. there has been a Phish rumor before roo every year. superfly didnt release offical denials about those phish rumors. why would they now?

Rolling stone also were the ones who said Metallica would headline the fest. Of course....they also said Zeppelin were rumored to as well........but they got one out of two right.

i think one of the biggest difference between the phish and led zep rumors, is that it has been absolutely confirmed(obviously) that phish is actually back together. with the led zep rumors, it was being based on whether or not they would actually play together again...or at least with plant.
im just waiting for someone to comment on it so i can call them a custie for liking dave ;D j/k
i love dave. id see him in festival atmosphere anytime! the man knows how to put on a headliner show. and hes pretty damn good at selecting special guests too. ive only seen dave twice. both at roo and it was awesome both times!
and a classic oldschool YEM from before they had trampolines, from like 1980 or somethin i think
There's nothing wrong with some old school YEM, but that's not Phish in that video. Those are the McLovins, some really talented kids that kinda resemble McLovin from Superbad. They have a bunch of videos on Youtube.
