first of all. yes, if phish ends up not being on that bonnaroo lineup than it will most definitely be the one of the biggest epic fails of the century. i'd probably hold a grudge for quite some time. secondly, i am totally totally looking forward to the roo shows now. before i was excited but the looming chances of possibly seeing phish show after show this summer was getting me a little more excited. now that i've been beat on the lottery and i feel my chances of scoring more than one show will be low, the roo show is my most looked forward to show of the summer (lol, as it usually always ends up being). not only will phish storm onto the farm with it's glorious exctasy of free-livin' fun-lovin' vibes just imagine the kind of goodies there going to bring with them. anyone whose seen the IT dvd will know what i'm talking about. and lets forget about phish for a minute. even without them roo will still be amazing as always. now thirdly, i just wanna congratulate GOUGEaway! nice job man! im deeply deeply envious of your very very sweet score. may the memories of you tour live on to be the greatest of your life! cheers

How do you find out if you got phish tickets through the lottery? Is there a certain page I can go to on my account to find out? Did you just check to see if your credit card got charged?

i think its hilarious that i cant score a frikin ticket, and someone else can score tickets for the entire tour. Thats just jealousy coming out of its ugly hole.

My brother and I both got shut out of both Hampton and Asheville. Which sucks because I go to school not too far from Hampton and it's over my spring break. My brother lives five minutes from the venue in Asheville, so I would have had a free place to stay. I am praying that one of us can score Asheville tickets on the 30th (the damn capcha didn't load for Hampton, screwing me out of tickets). I have no idea if it will be easier or harder to get than Hampton. The venue is smaller, but its not the first show back.
We both requested for Knoxville, which would be a fun pre-roo show. At least now they have one show in the south that can hold more than 14k.
I would just like to say congratulations to those who got tickets to Hampton and/or Asheville.... and would you like to sell those tickets to me for face value.

Have Phish announce a tour. Sell out every show (except maybe a few lawns here and there) on the weekend of the on sale date. Then the week following the summer tour selling out, announce Phish as your 2 night headliner for Bonnaroo 2009.

What do you guys thinks a better plan? Drop 105(+fees) for a lawn ticket to Great Woods now on StubHub or roll the dice and see if i can grab something better/cheaper on the public sale and hope the stub hub prices dont go too much higher?

I totally agree with everyone about the careful marketing forces that must be at play b/w AC and Phish. However, I don't think you're going to see the Roo selling out at the rapid pace that many believe. Phish phans, in my opinion, would rather drop $250 on a gauged Fox ticket than go to a festival where (*gasp) bands other than Phish are playing.
^To a point that is true, but there really will not be tickets at any price for some of these venues. Look at Hampton if you dont have a hot girlfriend with loose morals you are just not getting a ticket at this point.

I think Hampton is a slight anomaly as it is THE reunion shows... Not saying it won't be hard to get tickets to the rest of the tour otherwise.

I put in right when the presale's came out...and two of my friends did it the last day...they both got 4 tickets to Noblesville. while I didnt get anything...
I wish they knew one of my friends was a custie and just wants to go for the NO NO WORD!!!!...or he'll just end up selling his tickets for a huge profit....but if i dont get one of those tickets for face value...i'm going to put a rock in Jared's gas tank. Drove those SOB's to every festival ever. Listened to Jared make fun of Phish for two and a half years.. and now that turd gets tickets...

But I do have a bonnaroo ticket...so meh, its whatever...I'll probably be able to get one on the 30th to Noblesville
