As I attempted to enter my credit card information, I was kicked out of the system. This happened twice more. Clearly I am disappointed. I would suggest that if you are not able to handle ticket sales in an orderly manner perhaps you should leave that task to others. I look forward to your response as I am a very dissatisfied customer. Thank you.

We got 2 tickets to Camden on the lawn. My gf tried to get through on LiveNation forever and couldn't so she just drove to the nearest ticket outlet and bought them. Pretty sad.
I've never had that problem with ticketmaster. As much as I hate them at least they could handle a ton of ticket requests at once. This is the second time Livenation has failed me. F*ck them.

This Band is going to sell out this festival incredibly fast.
The first year sold out in 3 weeks. It hasn't sold out that fast ever again, and unless they completely ignore the festival cap, there is a chance they sell it out faster than that.

^^^^^ I agree. If Hampton sold out as quick as it did, not to mention the shows today, why wouldnt Roo sell out in a few hours? I mean if speculation is correct, you're getting two Phish shows for 250. Thats cheaper than scalped Phish tix plus you get 100+ other acts. I sat and waited for 2 hours and finally got 4 tix to Deer Creek. Missed out on STL but that can be expected. Gonna try for Knoxville tomorrow. Figure that would make a good warmup for Roo.
i got a pair in section 103 for knoxville. i kinda got worried after a couple minutes after not getting email confirmation so thinking i probably shut down without hitting something final i went for another pair. my 2nd pair is in 129 behind the stage if they dont cancel it.

Yeah this same exact thing happend to me this morning trying to get mass tickets... I spent an hour at the computer with three browsers open and my phone going... oh well I can't complain beause I got 5 shows through presale.
i don't know how my luck has panned out like this, but i got a ticket to every show from Hampton to Alpine Valley, including Bonnaroo.
Not to toot my own horn, but I have stuck with one Mr. Trey Anastasio through thick and thin these last 13 years. He is my hero, my legend, somebody I admire greatly, someone who inspires me in my own life. The fact that he overcame his human problems is the pinnacle of inspiration to me, and gives me motivation to better my own life. He is my favorite musician ever, bar none. I like to think this is karmic payback for never relinquishing hope for the future.
shut out by Live Nation for a single freakin' ticket to Mansfield. what a joke. tried the phone for 3 hours and the website for even longer. I cannot stand Live Nation right now. Their site completely broke and was unusable most of the time unless it was giving me error messages. i pulled up a lawn seat and i couldnt even order it. said i had timed out after about 30 seconds.

^^basically what happened to me. I was trying the single ticket route as well, bc i knew getting a pair would be impossible. There's probaby 10,000 tickets in the hand of scalpers right now. Until they make it illegal to scalp tickets on the inernet (or anywhere else) its always gonna be like this. They have automated computers bombarding the systems. That's why the sites can't handle the traffic.
I saw a thing on tv. This ticket resale company has an office in India where all the people do is type in the security word (the thing that's supposed to make sure you're an individual buyer) . These people just sit there and repeatedly type security words one after the other, while they program fills out the rest of the info. It's sad to think that you're on the phone frustrated as hell, trying to get tickets for your favorite band, and you're going up against automated machines. You're not gonna win.

Edit: This is why Bonnaroo is the Balls
God I hate scalpers. But as long as people continue to pay ridiculous amounts of money for scalped tickets its always going to be there. I just hope that we dont see thousands of scalped Roo tickets but im sure it will happen.

see this is sad. and what's even worse is there are plenty of ways of building programs to stop this kind of activity (im a programmer). the only reason why these companies don't pour money into that kind of thing is because frankly they don't care. they just want there money and there happy to get it any way they can. there not gonna spend the extra few hundred thousand a year to pay people to build protection against this kind of stuff. it's just plain sad. if only the bands had more control over this. if phish could sell the tickets themselves you know damn well every phishead would be celebrating right now that they got the ticket they needed

Actually, bands CAN guard against this. I'm not sure if this was the case with every Waits tour stop last year, but in Dallas, you had to have the credit card you purchased the ticket with to get into the venue. You simply swiped your credit card at the ticket taker station, and your ticket stub printed out of a hand held scanner they had.
