Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I am trying to remmember, but I think in 2004 they announced it at least a month prior to the broadcasts. I know tickets at my theater went fast. So, with it being 3 weeks away, I think we may be out of luck.
1. How many times have you seen Phish? 2. Bonnaroo will be Phish show #___ for you?
1. I've never seen Phish. 2. I expect to see most of their headlining show and probably some of their late-night show. These would be my 1st and 2nd Phish shows.
Over the weekend I checked out my actual Phishtory by looking at old tour dates/ setlists and I'm pretty sure I've only been to 11 shows (I think I would have guessed 15-20 ). So Bonnaroo will be #12 (and #13?).
So I am back to listening to Phish all the time for the first time in five years and loving it.
I was thinking something like a "show of the week" where we all download the same show and listen and discuss would be a good idea. Anyway, I'll let someone else organize that...
Here's what I've been listening to:
9-14-00 Darien Lake, NY (LivePhish3) I think this was famous for the Drowned->jam that started the second set with the amphitheater flooded from a storm, but I was blown away by the Susie->jam that ends the first set. Great stuff from Mike and the jam really explodes. I remember not thinking much of 2000 shows at the time, but the first set is pretty great.
11-25-94 UIC Pavillion, Chicago Currently in the middle of this, which was my first show. The setlist is pretty fantastic, but so far nothing too remarkable.
Next up I am downloading 12-6-97 because I need more '97 on my hard drive and someone (forgot who, too lazy to look it up) recommended it here.

my first phish cd...live phish 14...rocking first cd
set 1: icculus>divided sky>willson>ya mar>sparkle>Free>guyute>run like an antelope>harpua
set 2: i am the sea>the real me>quadrophenia>cut my hair? the punk and the godfather>im one> the dirty jobs>helpless dancer>is it in my head>ive had enough>5:15>sea and sand> drowned>bell boy> doctor jimmy>the rock>love reign o'er me

The show ends with an acoustic bluegrass arrangement of "My Generation," after which one can hear guitarist Trey Anastasio and drummer Jon Fishman destroy an acoustic guitar and a small drum set with sledgehammers and TNT while bassist Mike Gordon (on banjo) and keyboardist McConnell (playing upright bass) continue to maintain the groove.

I purchased the Phish @ the Roxy CD a few months back. I have been rocking Disc 8 of that series. Axilla, Bathtub Gin, Lizards, and BBFCFM just to name a few. The set ends with Phish and the Rev. Jeff Moser playing Paul and Silas>Pig in a Pen. Good stuff!

A general question about the Live Phish series. I've been getting my Live Phish mostly from LivePhish.com (crazy, huh?) . Anyways I've been trying to get Live Phish 13 aka White Album costume show, and its not available for download anywhere via official release. Is that just because its the Beatles and they don't like their shit available for download? Or is that live series strictly CD's?
The main reason I want it is 2 of my friends going this year (1 vet, 1 newb) are both big Beatles fans, don't know alot about Phish, but want to get into it. I want to get some nice corn, pop that in, not tell them what's coming and hopefully make them crap their pants when Phish goes into Back in the USSR...
listened to 10/26/96 last night. great show! trey shreds it through the whole show. the second set was flawless phish tightness! as much as i love 97 and 98 there's something about 96 that just keeps me going back to that year.
heres the show(courtesy of Mr. Miner's Phish Thoughts phishthoughts.com/) :
10/26/96 Charlotte Coliseum, Charlotte, NC I: Julius, Cars Trucks Buses, Wolfman’s Brother, Reba, Train Song, Character Zero, It’s Ice, Theme From the Bottom, Sample in a Jar

so what do you guys think they're gonna open Hampton with?
im thinking a YEM or The Curtain(With) would be sweet. or maybe a new song considering they made a point of saying they wouldn't get back together unless it was something new and evolved

I take it back. The first set is unremarkable. The second set is 2001>Mike's>Simple>Harpua, Weekapaug>Mango Song>Purple Rain>HYHU, Antelope and it is pretty ridiculous. Hearing it for the second time fifteen years later, I understand why no Harpua I've heard since has topped this one.
I seriously doubt that those are all AUDs, b/c every single one of those shows has been released, or is available in SBD format.
And as such, they are forbidden on this site. I would remove that if I were you.
I don't have a log or anything from these but have you listened to them? Most of them are clearly AUDs. Just because they were released does not mean THESE are SBDs or mixes.
