Listening to "The Connection". great song. hope they play it at some point. How often do they play this Phish xperts?
it is my understanding that's it never been played live. i could be wrong though. but it is Undermind so a lot of those songs never really got the live workings that they needed. so maybe we'll see it this summer. who knows?
"Disobedience, in the eyes of anyone who has read history, is man's original virtue. It is through disobedience and rebellion that progress has been made." Oscar Wilde (1854 - 1900), The Soul of Man Under Socialism
"You're either on the bus or off the bus." Ken Kesey
"When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro." Hunter S. Thompson
I think the connection was played once or twice. undermind has never been played though. I actually got sick of ac/dc bag after awhile. Seemed like they were playing it at every show i saw. I'm not real big on twist or runaway jim either.

I hope this tour is nothing like anything they've ever done before..... I hope with their two sets they play EVERYTHING. Hopes too high? Yeah? What of it? It's fucking BONNAROOOOOOOO! ;D
As a Roo-goer who sits somewhere between "Hippie" and "Hipster", I'm happy for you guys that really want Phish, but I'm personally hoping the two nights includes one headlining slot and one late-night slot. That way you guys still get lots of Phish, but people like me who are indifferent get three headliners instead of two....if we can even get tickets that is.
maybe try lolla?
so ya, reading back through this thread, you were right and i actually completely agree with you.

ok, i hear ya on that account.
im a sucker for the catchy song. i love run like an antelope and down with disease but sometimes you need a break and just want something to sing along to!
I dunno man. It's just never sat well with me. There are actually a lot of their earlier songs that just don't do it for me. It's strange.
I am the opposite, I like most of the early stuff, but really do not care for Billy Breathes or anything past that.
Completely agree love pretty much everything before Billy and only select songs afterwards.
and Juggernaut's right about Heavy things it kind of became the Touch of Grey or the Throwing Stones of the 1987 Dead tour. Both of themselves fine songs but they were so overplayed that tour (although they have been, sparingly, in the set rotation since 1982)that even to this day I generally skip over them when listening to a show....esp. TS>NFA Great segue combo they blend well (hence the boys doing it 100000 times) but I'd seen it done so many times just got completely sick of it.
I don't care what you say about me, just spell my name right---P.T. Barnum "As I was walking up the stairs I met a man who wasn't there He wasn't there again today I wish to God he'd go away."
....heard that Jug I think Zero is my most hated Phish song in the regular rotation (or what was the regular rotation anyway) admittingly the jam at the end is in fact usually pretty sweet but the rest of the song annoys the hell out of me.

So I'm listening to Farmhouse right now. I actually really like this record. (only heard it once before and didn't really pay attention) When Heavy Things came on, I almost screamed. This was one of my favorite songs from the 90's believe it or not. I can see this being a very enjoyable concert(s).

Yeah, it looks like you're right. It just was like oh wow I remember this song. I really really hope they play it. I hope they play anything off Farmhouse.
