when phish lleaves the farm this year no one will remember that radiohead or mmj ever played here. all the debate over the best roo headliner performance or late night set will be gone.

Dude... Phish will be a good time and an excellent show... but it's gonna be tough to beat the MMJ late night sets. Then again, anything can happen at the Farm.

It looked like Fenway was kind of a nutsy place to see a show. I've never seen a concert at a baseball field and don't think I would want to.
couldnt disagree more. seeing them in fenway park was pretty surreal. looking out @ the boston skyline from inside the oldest ballpark in america as phish plays at sunset was incredible. there were certainly bad seats and the sound was not spot on the entire show but i would not have traded fenway for comcast center because of that.
dunno why nol13 quoted me as saying fenway sucked ???

I love Phish as much as anyone, but I think you're crazy on that one. Phish does what they do very well, but they have a limited appeal. People who don't like jam music generally don't like Phish, whereas I've seen people from all walks appreciating MMJ and Radiohead. There will still be plenty of debate.
If I cant think of one single band in all of music that draws more hatred from people than phish it would probably be Radiohead. Not from me as I love them both but they are extremely hated by non-fans.

Um. What? Radiohead is one of those rare bands that even the people that don't seem to like them at least respect what they do.
EVERYONE loves phish and radiohead. if they say they don't, they just don't know what they are talking about. less than 4 hours till jb. i can not wait.
no way Antelope. they're saving it for a 2001->Antelope on Saturday ;D ;D. man i've been so obsessed with Phish lately that I've almost forgot about Bonnaroo for a couple days. crazy what this band will do to you. have fun dancing tonight whoever's gonna be at Jones Beach!!!

Damn I was expecting to get flamed. All I'm saying is that both those bands were at their peak when they performed. Phish is coming off a long break, and are still not playing up to the standards they set in the mid 90's.
weekapaug, i'm new to phish and weekapaug groove has been stuck in my head for the past 3 days. i'm having difficulty deciding on Friday night between them, Femi and Public Enemy. I think its definitely gonna come down to Phish v. Femi...I know I could go to both but damn I hate jumping from set to set. Guess I'll just have to see what happens
