Last year was my first Bonnaroo, I had an amazing time....
But, (I think it was Saturday evening) while walking back to camp, I was approached to buy some Tshirts, I did and all of a sudden another tshirt guy was throwing another shirt over my shoulder... I had on a over the shoulder bag and thought after I paid that I dropped my wallet back into the bag.
The next day I was looking for my wallet... and it was gone( I had about $300 cash, my debit card along with a lot of other information and most importantly my license which I needed to fly back home to NY .
So I retraced my steps, and asked the fence security lady if she heard of anyone turning in a red wallet. I literally was digging through the mud/horse poop/porta-potty secretion trying to find my wallet. Finally I went to the Pod at our campsite and asked the girl while crying if anyone turned in a red wallet, the girl kind of smiled and asked my name.. I told her and THERE IT WAS!
So THANK YOU TO WHOEVER RETURNED MY RED WALLET!!
I honestly doubt if I were somewhere else my wallet would of been returned. That goes to show you Bonnaroo people are the best kind of people.
yes i turned in a wallet one year and ive had others who lost a phone or camera and found it at lost and found. thats one of the things i like about roo! but just ONE of the things!

while waiting for a wheelbarrow at the ledges during gratefulfest a young lady came to the front desk thingy looking for her friends wallet. she was like "i know this is a long shot but did anybody turn in a wallet?" and sure enough the lady handed over her friends wallet.
she was so excited and happy me and my friends couldn't help but smile knowing we are around good people.
