Zooguy.. it also appears that there is a "Rock The River" fest at Tom Lee Park scheduled in July. It's on Pollstar. The only band listed so far is Skillet so Im sure it will be a bunch or redneck crap.
Yeah, I was wondering what that was about. There will also probably be a Fall Ball in Laws Hill, MS, in early October 2009. Not sure on the exact date yet.
Should be cool to see MMW, Ben Harper, Los Lobos, Elvis Costello, Al Green, Julian Marley, the Roots, George Clinton, Dead Confederate, James Taylor, Guitar Shorty, Steve Miller Band, & John Mayall. Supposed to rain all weekend (as it always does during MIM), but hopefully it won't be too bad.
Also, there's supposed to be the River City Jam Band Festival on September 25-26 @ Minglewood Hall. Not sure what bands will be there yet.
Getting packed for the North MS Hill Country Picnic this weekend. It's gonna be hotter than hell, but I'll still have a blast. Had so much fun last year.
