I heard about the guess "Of Montreal" before it was brought up on these boards, but whoever brought it up on these boards really sold it to me.
My initial reaction was that Kevin Barnes was bi, and he would be too ambiguous to fit the clue just because he's bi.
But then the person on this board brought out the bands name... and Of Montreal would definitely fit with the "definitely not in Europe." Why not? Because they're of Montreal!
My thinking is along that of wolfmanjess. Because the clue said someONE. What is meant by AC/DC depends on who you ask. But the "not in Europe" part just refers to the fact that AC/DC is in Europe during 'roo. I see people getting waaaaaaay off track.

Yes, the AC/DC rumor was officially shot down when it was found out theye in Europe in June.

I'm just throwing ideas out there....I don't really have a favorite idea or anything, and I'm definitely not pushing any certain band...I'm just stating ideas that pop in my head.

I agree we should try and stick with the clues. I wish I could remember the other one .
i think the 'not in europe' part could definately be a part of the clue. when trying to figure out a riddle you have to use everything that is given to you. but then again the 'not in europe' factor almost every way translates to them being at bonnaroo and not in europe at the time. to me it means someone that is from europe or wont be in europe at the time of the fest. e.g. david bowie or neil young.

It seems to me that anything Djjd posts should be thoroughly analyzed word by word for clues. Like someone posted earlier in the thread, Djjd is going to make it much harder on us this year. So, I think the "not in Europe" part of the clue could be just as important as anything else djjd has posted.

He did say that this year would be harder. But it seems like people are making it harder than it really is. Thats like last year when the clues were "The clouds taste this" and people thought it was going to be the FLips again instead of Metallica.
Even if a clue is easy, there will still be people thinking that it's harder than it really is.
Also, Neil Young is not from Europe. He's from Canada

i looked up who else was born july 9th. the first person to come up even before bon scott was Jack White. He has played roo with the white stripes and rac. Do you think this is a possibility or am I looking to much into it?

As FanFreakingTastic as it would be to have Jack White on the farm again, I highly doubt they would have him play 3 years in a row.
Just for the record, I looked up the 80's crap hair band Europe. Nobody from that band is touring.
Sure they were crap, but the gave us "The Final Countdown" and that's got to be worth something. Just to keep on track with the thread, I agree with the Of Montreal guess.

I have the clues figured out. AC/DC rock really hard just like led zep so it looks like Led Zepp will be on the farm with Robert Plant. What a great surprise for christmas! Thanks djjd.
