Just for the record, I looked up the 80's crap hair band Europe. Nobody from that band is touring.
Sure they were crap, but the gave us "The Final Countdown" and that's got to be worth something. Just to keep on track with the thread, I agree with the Of Montreal guess.

Really? IMHO it was one of the worst. It was bad even by hair band standards.

Heres my opinion on the Clue " Someone who is AC/DC isnt in Europe"
I thought about the band and obviously Bon Scott wont be there because he is dead.
Bon Scott was born July 9,1946
i looked up who else was born july 9th. the first person to come up even before bon scott was Jack White. He has played roo with the white stripes and rac. Do you think this is a possibility or am I looking to much into it?
I think the birth date is a little too loose of a tie-together.
However, I think you might be onto something...
Since Bon is such a unique name... what if you're right about Bon Scott, and it could be Bon Iver will be at Bonnaroo.
Bon Iver would be a good first clue... a great upcoming band that would fit well at Roo that most people who know music have heard of, but not a top of the line artist/headliner.
Bon is a unusal named and i did think that. Like Bon Jovi or BONo.. however the only bon i would want would be BONHAM and he is also dead but i am not trying to start a zeppelin rumor lol

HOLY CRAP you guys are fast! ARRGH I CAN'T BELIEVE I MISSED IT! I'm going out to eat soon but I'm going to start reading through this now and I'll be back later to deliver the super exciting present I promised you guys!
Edit: Okay, I read through it faster than I expected - it's a lot easier now than it was last year when we really got going / will be eventually! I was originally planning to get the present ready for Christmas and then decided not to worry about it because I changed my mind and decided the clues wouldn't start until after Christmas. Looks like my first guess about when they would start was right after all...so now I have a little bit more prep to do for the present. Getting to work on it now, so maybe I'll be able to share it later tonight!
Also, big HI to everyone I haven't talked to much since last year's clue thread - especially jess and meyers. Lots of you I have still talked to, but I gotta say, having this thread going with the group of people who first got me hooked on Inforoo...it's like coming home! AND I LOVE YOU ALL.
I dont remember from last time but does djjd usually tell us that we figured out a clue or does he let us ramble on forever even tho we probably figured out the clue already?
