Im horrible at this, and wont be much help.. but I do love watching you people figure it out....

Just my observation, has he ever posted specific words in different colors before??

that was the first thing that struck me.... and might be a good focus point?

I really think all signs point to Animal Collective. Animals Bark, and his post was right after a comment about Animal Collective. They could fulfill the AC portion of the AC/DC clue.

This is an unfortunate time for me to have to go to work. I will return later tonight anticipating more clues. And look forward to my 2,000th post!

I think the barking up the wrong tree clue might mean Snoop Dogg.

Barking / woof woof = what a dog (dogg) does. The word barking was in green - Snoop Dogg smokes a lot of weed. Tree is also a synonym for weed.

The "ho ho ho... ho" clue also seems to be pointing to a rapper.

Plus his Rothbury show seems to have been pretty well received by the hippies.

I have to agree, as soon as I saw that clue, I immediately thought of Snoop Dogg. I can see the Animal Collective connection--and would actually much rather see them than Snoop-- but something tells me it's Snoop.

First time posting in this thread... but I've read along with each page

The d/r switcheroo was definitely intentional. However, I think the off/of thing is just a typo.
