its something about a band that split up. one half has involved revolved and devolved. the other half is the social networker. it's either that or an artist that has recorded with more than one identity.
following my own logic, man that could be tons of things. the dead(lesh and weir), ben harper (changing bands), primus (with his numerous projects, mars volta (with the atdi split), pink floyd (waters or gilmour). tons of options.

I cant tell for sure but my initial impression was that it was about djjd. Did anyone else hear it at least a little to confirm that. I don't want my impression to lead us down the wrong track.

Because, like mentioned before you can really make these clues fit to anyone you want. People get an idea and they can find ways to make it fit. Last year it was LZ and Prince. We think of someone we want to be there and make it fit.
That being said we shouldn't dismiss them, because last year I recall there being mention that we had figured out answers but for the wrong clue. So we've probably repeated a half a dozen artists on the lineup, but just not the ones that go with the clues

This may be a ridiculous out there guess..but what about Social Distortion?
Two of their origional members have died and they have disbanded multiple times and gotten back together and it's rumored that they're recording a new ablum that is going to be released later this year.

well it may be a stretch but it still seems to work (like many other things obviously)
AC/DC Animal Collective/Disctrict of Columbia Animal Collective/Panda Bear (he originally grew up near there) evolved devolved (animals)/ social networker (he is the founding member and somewhat "frontman" of the group.

Oh yeah...no, no, no, I'm not saying you're saying one thing or another, no worries there....people are repeating lots of things with these clues, Animal Collective, David Bowie, The Dead, Phish....It's just gonna happen, as long as we don't stop our investigation of the clue, I mean when we really got an answer, we know it...

I feel like the clues might all be different bands now. I have a feeling everything was finalized yesterday or the day before (maybe after the Dead saw how their presale yesterday went and that factored in their decision to play roo or not-doubt it, but). And as aresult Djjd was given free reign to float stuff out there. I think Jerzee;s Mars Volta source is stronger than he is leading us to believe and that its essentially a leak (He opened a whole new thread for it even though there was 50 page thread already on the board. And it opened just before the clues started coming. I think they may be related....
I feel like the clues might all be different bands now. The Social Networker could be Warren Haynes who plays with ABB, Govt Mule, the Dead, and probably others.

I don't care if Guns 'N' Roses is there, cause that will free up some of my time, but if they are headlining then I will be pissed.
theres no way a reunited GnR wouldnt headline. Not saying that I'd want to see it, I might, but I'm not too heavy on it either way. But that would be a huge thing.

Wouldn't it be nice if The Dead played in the afternoon...say like Saturday or Sunday rather than late night...I think it would be great if I could get up around noonish and have a cool buzz and lay back listen to some Dead...and GNR would kill but doubt they play
