lmao at the fact that Where You From (Da 865) is playing right now.....and at the fact that I now think everything is a clue.
Same thing happened last year, but this has started much sooner, were gonna all go crazy and get burnt out. We still have two and a half weeks before lineup comes out.
Adding on to this... Elvis was a pretty loud dog in TN. Elvis Costello and Smokey Robinson! (They appeared together in 2008)
As much as I hate this...it is exactly what I thought... I'm from TN and while re-tracing the last 8 pages(all posted in the last hour) ;D, All I thought of was Elvis,hound dog.....but all useless

Yeah, I distinctly remember a time last year where I was on here during my photography class and I thought for a moment that something my professor said was a clue. I was like....dear god I need to stop.
Edit: And I'd say either of the Elvises (Perkins or Costello) is a possibility considering they've both played broo before.

^That could definitly go back to the "second part of the split personality is a social networker" but if that was the case then that would mean that clue wasn't about a band. In which case many of our answers wouldn't be pertinent.
So I dont know. I like to think that that was a clue about a band but I stand behind your "multiple people/spies" *cough cough* Jess theory
*edit* maybe this is how he has evolved, he is trying to throw us off even more. by making us question whether clues are really clues or.......you know what that happened last year too though, so I guess not lol

Prince had toured with the band Revolution, Prince first started playing with a band(involved), it then became the band Revolution(revolved?), the band the broke up or deteriorated(devolved), and the Prince became the Artisit formerly known as prince(so he evolved?).
also the split personality. Prince, and The Artist Formerly Know As Prince.
this can also be tied to he lost his personality as he is no longer Prince?
i dont know im just throwin stuff out there and this just happened to tie in with the last one.

We never did come up with an answer to the riddle. "What happens when your personality leaves? Tune in and find out." It was supposed to have a junior high answer, which made me think of some horrible pun ala "make like a tree and leave." But then the "tune in and find out" thing makes me think that the radio clues that related to split personality were supposed to be the answer. So now I'm confused, because I'm not sure if we should still be thinking of that junior high answer or not.

It doesn't. Knowing how many people are giving us the clues, and who they are isn't going to make any difference is it? Think about it, last year people tracked down all the info you could imagine on who our dj was, other boards they were posting on and connected it all, did it help us solve anything? Not that I recall. I think this is either a clever way to divert our attention, or a fluke that led us down some crazy path

Right...i am thinkin that the ideas of mutiple folks being djjd may not be right only because that wouldn't really lead us to any kind of band

finally caught up. here's my notion:
warren hayes definitely seems like the social networker, (he's played with so many people). maybe all these clues point to the dead because what we would see as the dead is made up of multiple pieces:
Weir, Lesh, Kreutzmann, and Hart (grateful dead) Jeff Chimenti (RatDog) Warren Haynes (Gov't Mule, Allman Brothers)
this lineup is a branch off so many preeceding years of music making, with plenty o' breakups to boot. evolving, devolving, involving, etc. they are all very comfortable playing together, but this would be the only tour of this line up.

Just for the record he's gone back to being Prince. The whole formerly known as thing was part of his battle with Sony records.

Isn't Djjd a musician himself...and does he not also live in TN.... and maybe the loudest dog isn't necessarily the loudest speaking, but the loudest heard..AC/DC, both ways radio/online, split personalities djjd/Todd Steed...maybe djjd himself is playing Bonnaroo???

It's a junior high level pun - split personality, split as in leave, exit, etc. I'm pretty sure there is a similar riddle that little kids are fond of - what do you call it when a banana leaves? A banana split. Then you have to laugh so the kid who told you won't be offended. No matter how many times they tell it.

See Bowie is is the evovled half, and Ziggy Stardust is the other. Bowie actually had issues thinking he was Ziggy for awhile.

I think he did what he said he would. What happens when your personality leaves?----- Tune in to find out.
So we tune in and what does he tell us, he tells us that one part involved, devolved, etc. and the other part is a social networker. He gave us the answer, well he gave us another riddle we just have to figure it out. I really don't think it relates to someone on the board. I think it is about a band that went through splits and changes and whatnot and they will come together at roo. I think at this point we have branched too far from the original point.

Hmm, yeah, the personality leaving = splitting thing could be the answer to the riddle. That definitely makes sense.
And yeah, I don't want to forget about the reference to me being sooo close either. Mostly because I'm SO FREAKING EXCITED that I got my own clue ....but also because, hey, I was close! That was in response to my idea about the loudest barker being someone on here....but I was sooo close but yet so far.

wow stop posting so damn much! i think this clue thread is more fun to read than lasts because of everyone knowing the answer instantly or trying to find ways that "The clouds taste this way..." was not Metallica, everyone is legitimately stumped. also, i have no good guesses but the dude linking it all to the dead has me convinced.
