Many of you may remember Obama's Open for Questions feature where people submit and vote on questions for the man himself (approximately) to answer, and how the most asked question was on the legalization of cannabis. You may further remember that Obama more or less snubbed the question and may also remember the media attention the whole thing garnered on national news networks.
Well, the time is here again. I don't think I'm too presumptuous in assuming that this issue is important to many of the folks here, and only 7000some votes were able to accomplish all this last time.
If any of you are interested in trying to make this happen again: visit this page, follow the article to the feature, sign in or make an account (no pesky confirmation necessary, it's quick and painless), use the search function to find the questions pertaining to marijuana/drug reform, and vote for every one you find. After this, get all your friends to do the same and then if you have the ambition make more threads like this on other boards likely to yield a good turnout.
10,000 votes is not a lot and an effort like this where everyone recruits from message boards could yield significant turnout (enough to make the difference). Let's ,make this happen!
