me 2, I want to sit in the A/C tent in the morning so the heat doesn't make me so damn frustrated!
A real concern for me... I got heat exhaution last year(was on antibiotics at Bonnaroo) and Sunday I spent half my day on a blanket napping in the A/C dining tent.
I honestly don't see the meal sitch changing that much this year...other than maybe them changing the vendor for the catering. I think they are maybe hoping that there will be fewer people taking advantage of the food plan and so they will have to server fewer people and the caterer will have to fix/deal with fewer dishes. Maybe make it more like the VIP/Artist catering tent set up where you actually have more of a choice of quicker/smaller entrees...more of a grill set up where you actually order what you want with a smaller selection and less of a buffet type atmosphere which could result in a higher quality of food. But you'll still have lines at peak times and they will STILL run out of food and you'll be stuck with whatever is left if you wait too long...but hey...that's life on the road no? LOL!

Sure is life on the road and that's what made VIP the option last year based on my medication at the time. I never thought about the positive of there being higher quality food...mmm a rib joint... and melt some cheese on it. LOL Bamabelle, Do you know what the VIP/ARTIST catering is like? Could u give us an example of one day, if you do?
As for access to air conditioning, remember that they are still providing the 3 lounge areas to everyone in VIP. If they are the same as last year's lounge areas, that will mean the one next to the dining area should be air conditioned. I can't remember clearly, but I believe that the one at the pass through from VIP to the main stage was also air conditioned. Regardless, you shouldn't need to purchase the dining package to have access to at least one air conditioned lounge area, possibly two (provided that the lounge areas this next year are the same as those of last year's).
