I've been to the past 4 Bonnaroo's and I thought that this year it would be fun to get a tee pee. I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with a tee pee at Bonnaroo, and also how it held up. I'm also looking for a place to purchase one. The only kind I can find online are for children to play in. I did find a really cool one from www.millets.co.uk, but I'm not sure they ship to the U.S. Also, I need it to be able to fit my queen sized air mattress.
6/26/16 Phish - Noblesville, IN 7/9-10/16 Merryland Music Fest - Columbia MD 7/23/16 Keller Williams - McMinnville, TN 8/25-28/16 LOCKN Festival - Arrington, VA
I would just go to home depot and build one with plumbing equipment and a couple of tarps. Replace the sticks with PVC, and the blanket with a tarp, I would also add a groundtarp. I have always wanted to build a geodesic dome, or huge ornamental windmill at Bonnaroo.

Well these people across the way from us built this humongous geodesic dome similar to what Jess was talking about, and it was a constant rave from sundown until a few hours past sunup. The untz and womp were blasting! I remember going to sleep one night and waking up and thinking that I hadn't slept because I fell asleep and woke up to the same music... And they must've had a fire in there cause there was always some smoke billowing out of it
at AllGood, right across from the InfoGood camp (which was conveniently located adjacent to Shakedown Street) there was a WigWam set up, with a Hookah lounge inside. just some wookies i do believe, but at night they started blasting the house music until the wee hours of the afternoon. They had fire spinners, and all sorts of trippy stuff going on that was a nice treat after returning from the latenight shows in no shape to sleep
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

Did somebody get a picture of it?? I don't know why I never thought to... or a video or something. It was truly something you had to witness to get the full idea I think.

There's not a thing worth remembering When tomorrow can bring someone new Get used to the thought You can't be what you're not Life has already got plans for you

I remember seeing a tee pee last year, next to the RVs parked near the ferris wheel entrance. It was really tall, probably 12-15 feet high. I think those folks had an RV to sleep in; it looked like the tee pee was just the "hang out"... but still cool nonetheless.

ok, that just sounds amazing!
So I've decided...fuck teepees, I need a rave wigwam. ;D

Basically... It was AllGood
I don't know how I don't have a picture of it either. Could we all have just imagined it?

^^^ We all watched them arrive (super late Thurs?) and meticulously build the thing all day Friday in their matching overalls... and it was still going (the music at least) Monday Morn when we were all leaving... yeah, it HAD to be real, didn't it?
Still, that said... I can't really believe I don't have a picture of it either ???
Regarding TeePees... you'll definitely need to design a Rainfly for the smokehole
Oh yech - there are definately spiders and ants at bonnaroo
And grasshoppers... thousands and thousands of grasshoppers (at least in the tall grass where WE set up camp last year)
and caterpillars... i found a crazy yellow and black striped caterpillar in the tall grass and thought it was a snake... they dont have those kinds in connecticut
