Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Long range weather is looking good so far. Still concerned about the nights. I hear it can get bone chilling cold after the sun sets. Packing a good base layer for sure.
So are you doing regular or premier camping? Lemme know what your flag looks like and I'll try and find you to say hello.
Prepare for wild temperature and weather changes throughout the days. Supposed to be good for The Dead this weekend though!
We went VIP with premier camping. The flag looks like the one I posted earlier in this thread. A Sasquatch riding a Inforoo rooster. Don't know how I'm going to fly it though. We are flying in and a flag pole is not an option. I will think of something. Look for someone 6' 4' 265 wearing Bonnaroo or Inforoo stuff. See you there!!!
Lou, the beer last year was sold only in 24 oz. cans (tallboys....I think 24 oz. is correct) and I believe it was $12 for PBR or Molson...might have been one or two other choices at the same price, but I don't remember.

Holy crap! I guess we will be drinking at the campsite. Does the beer in the VIP areas sell for the same? You would think we would get a discount. Well either way I will have a good time. Thanks.
Lou, that was for beer in the venue. I don't know about the campsites since we stayed in a hotel.
Thanks. I know you can have whatever in the campground, specially the vip camping area. I was just wondering what the discount was in the vip lounges that are next to all the main stages. I hope there is some discount. Probably a buck off, whoopie!!
Y'all have a great time -- I'm going to miss that beautiful scenery this year. Biglou, we stopped in Snoqualmie to grab a bite to eat. It's not too far out of Seattle, but it's a cute little town and their brewpub has good beer, sandwiches and pizza!

Thanks for the info. We are planning on going to the town of Leavenworth after the fest. Lots of good German beer and food. Plus a soft hotel bed after 3 days in a tent. Flight takes off Friday morning at 9:20am, arrives 10:35am. I love gaining time when traveling. See everyone there. Look for a guy wearing a kilt and a retro inforoo shirt.
Well, we are back from Sasquatch. I'm happy with the performances, but not with the organizers!
Let's start with the positives.
Venue- beautiful beyond what I can express. You must see it.
Music- short sets but outstanding by all.
VIP treatment- VIP zones in venue are super! private viewing of all stages and private lounges to get away from the pack. Oh, plus private bathrooms, a big PLUS!!!
Now Negatives.
No re entry to venue once inside. Total bull crap!
Beers in venue - 16 and 12oz cans 9.00 each. WTF!!!
Food, the same thing, 9.00 for a hot dog or anything else for that matter.
No VIP food that was suppose to be there, no discount in VIP lounges.
Drinking age checks. Each day you re-verify your age and get a bracelet. Then show ID each time you buy a beer. What the hell is the bracelet for???
Beverage police all over the place like little Nazis.
Premiere camping, one small step above general camping. 2 showers for 8,000 people. I was speechless to say the least. No food in premiere like advertised. Slightly bigger sites than general, but not much bigger. Camping way to far from venue. You took a bus or walked a long way. Ran out of water on the 2nd day at bathrooms. In a nut shell, VIP packages require VIP camping! This was not the case. You were treated like a VIP in the venue, then left to fend for yourself outside.
Things will need to be fixed for me to repeat this fest again. The only reason this fest did well, 70,000+, was 60%+ were Canadian. Well, I did it and it was an experience. I'm thinking back to roo next year.
Oh, we got married in the town of Leavenworth Wa. after the fest. That town you need to see, beautiful!!!!!
Almost forgot, the weather was perfect. 80's for highs and 50's lows all week long. I hope roo has as good weather too.

Wow, congrats!
If you ever decide to do Sasquatch again (I did it in '07 and '08, absolutely loved it) I can suggest some alternate, much more comfortable camping options.
