Helloooo- So I just moved to a small town in Arizona just outside Florence where Country Thunder takes place each year.. Country isn't my first choice of music but I certainly don't mind it and I will be attending this Festy this year.
But, I will be attending it with a press pass, as the newspaper I write for owns the Florence paper and so I am all over that, I can't imagine how awesome it will be to be behind the scenes. And there are some big names this year too, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band..
Anyways, has anyone ever attended this festival? I am just wondering the logistics of the whole thing, what should I be prepared for, how is the camping set up so on and so forth. Any and alll help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance ;D

I've never been, but one of my old journalism teachers covers it every year for the Star. I imagine from her description it's just a lot of big name contempo country stars. Have fun camping in Florence in April. should be in the triple digits by then.

I looked at their site they had a lot of rules, however you can bring dogs, and I saw nothing about drugs . I bet you could make it into a party if you thought creatively.
