The following artists have been added to the lineup:
Gomez Mason Jennings Steve Kimock Crazy Engine North Indiana All Stars Pete Francis featuring Barefoot Truth Todd Snider Garaj Mahal Akron/Family The Honeydogs Tom Sparks Pert Near Sandstone Backyard Tire Fire Joe Pug Nathan Miller Band Paper Bird Mifune Harper Zach Deputy Gypsy Lumberjacks
Well, I live in MN so it's not really a hard choice for me. A trip to Roo and a local fest is a good balance.
It's also good that there aren't too many lineup crossovers from Roo to 10KLF. Wilco being there just means that I don't need to worry about a Wilco conflict at Roo or I get a double dose of Tweedy and company.
Honestly, the lineup is extremely solid for a $150 ticket and a reasonably small crowd. DMB, Widespread x2, Wilco, Sharon Jones, Umphrey's, Gomez and Cloud Cult are all great shows among others.
Does anybody know if the 20+ artists TBA will be along the lines of the Mason Jennings/Dap-Kings/Gomez tier or will they be smaller shows? I realize I could just look at the lineup last year but I'm not sure what I should expect for additions.
Well I've seen Atmosphere and they're a decent show. When I saw them, it was just the two with Slug on the mic and Ant armed with a laptop. I would probably only want to see them if there isn't a conflict or they have a live drummer/band.

Getting excited... in referance to the posts above about Atmosphere, they will be with a live band and they're awesome. Expect a 15 minute version of Shrapnel that will take you to outerspace. I'm really excited to see Zach Deputy again, his shows at Roo were sick, been listening to his "burn-on'site" CD alot.
