I got one pair on amazon (select styles are cheap there) and one pair on killerdana.com but they don't seem to be selling them anymore. I know frugalbackpacker.com and eastbay.com have some for around this price though.
probably not the greenest option, but if you don't want to have to deal with cleaning a grill or having to dispose of charcoal, i know that could be a pain in the tuckus. 10 disposable charcoal grills with built in charcoal for $30

this is a bit off topic and im going to post in the other room,,,but...if you are trying to study some roo bands you an borrow a lot of it free at the library. i have a double chillis cd and an antlers cd. cheap way to get in the mood!
ok i got chastised for that post in the other room. i updated my computer and now need a new video card and new sound card so ...i cant use youtube or any of the other computer ways to listen to new music. i also cant use my itunes now. so thats why i posted that....figured some others might be in that spot too...sorry for not putting enough information
I searched for cots for a long time. Had to look for one to fit tall people that weigh over 200. I really like this one. It folds up, costs under $50, and has free shipping. It is due to arrive in the next few days and I will give a full report.
edit: I bought it for 39.99 but Amazon now lists it at 49.99. Hopefully it lowers again soon

This is a piece of crap. My weight is only 115 pounds and it broke after about 10 uses! There are 2 seams that go along both sides of cot and one of them just tore all the way from bottom to top. What a "nice" rest I had, thank you Coleman...

It lists the material of construction as "vinyl/plastic" so I don't know how much faith I'd put in its anti-wook ability. I've been wondering ever since I signed up how the people in TO defeat the evil wookery that abounds at these festivals. It's what is keeping me out of TO, I don't know how I'd secure my property.

Think I'm going to buy a Quik Shade instead of an EZ-Up this year. Apparently they are about the same but have those awesome pull rings instead of the push button things. Be careful with those. That one has slanted legs, so even though it says 10x10, the shade is only 8x8. Just make sure you know what you are getting and that you are happy with it.
Yeah, my last EZ-Up was the same and it provided plenty of shade since I don't put my tent under it (I don't even sleep in my tent!), but it's an important reminder since a lot of people forget these things and get all peeved when they set it up for the first time.
EDIT: Knowing me, I'll probably still get an EZ-Up like I used to have, but the Quik Shade will sit in my Walmart cart for a bit while I decide.

Think I may end up getting one of those Quik Shade backpack canopies. Looks like it travels easy and I'd only need a small one to go over my sleeping tent. Thinking about it.
I'm going with the $50 Sierra II 10 x 10. Seems like a good deal.
Yep, and the construction quality is great as well. Saw so many of those Walmart and Dicks EZ-UPs get destroyed by the bad weather in 2009.
I didn't go in 2009, but I had a cheapo brand destroyed in just a little rain in 2008. The quality of the EZ Up brand is noticably better, even though we've been lucky with our current off brand model. When it's next to our EZ Up, though, you can obviously tell which one is name brand and which is not.

i dont know if anyone here knows about www.woot.com but they are having a woot-off. i probably should have posted this 2 days ago as it has been happening for a lil while, but i have noticed at least a quarter of the stuff they are selling are camping/outdoors related. check it out if you got nothing better to do. currently there is a heavy duty sleeping bag for 70. (nvm sold out as i was typing this lol)

i hate you so much right now, i was following the wootoff since it started. and on this session every time i decided to take a break from watching the items, THE NEXT QUACKING THING was the BoC. it killed a little piece of my soul every time i came back to see that if i had only stayed on the computer another couple of minutes i would have had the chance to get one. been on this site since JAN 2006. and have yet to get one of them. (i contemplated taking away swag out of sheer jealousy but i am giving you +1 instead)
