Post your good deals, sales, recommendations for camping/Roo accessories in this thread. This was Bamadancer's idea so I can't take the credit for the good idea
I am hunting for a shade tent/EZ up on sale so let me know if y'all see one
I was at Target this weekend, and as always, I was browsing the camping/sporting goods aisles for Roo supplies. They had some Coleman laterns in various sizes on sale, as well as a fabric table (camping-chair type material) on clearance for like $6.
I'm on the hunt for a sleeping bag, so if anyone stumbles across one on sale, let me know!

be careful when seacrhing for screen tents online, because sometimes they are selling only the screen walls, and it isn't clearly described in the title.

I got a sleeping bag for Mulberry Mountain at Wal-Mart for about ten dollars (regular price!). I didn't actually sleep in it, but on top of it with a light blanket and a pillow. It was actually pretty soft and when the tent flooded I had no problem leaving it behind. I think it may have been a Coleman sleeping bag. Pretty much all Wal-Mart sells (in my area at least) is Coleman gear.
Best chairs ever for Bonnaroo. We took them last year and were asked by so many people where we got them from. We do not have the shades on our - they are cheaper, but still they are comfy and pretty light to carry.

I second this opinion. We had two of the Kelsyus Backpack Chairs also and they were great.

Today at our Walmart, I found a 10x10 EzUp style Shelter by Ozark trail. It looked pretty good and was $54. It was pretty heavy and looked like it goes up like an EZ Up.
I wish now that I had bought it because I think it is exactly what I want...... They had 3 so maybe I will go back tomorrow. I don't see it on their online store.
I got a sleeping bag last night on clearance for $19! It's a nice Coleman one too. It was the only one Target had, so I'm thinking it was a return, the box was busted up. This is a good time to browse the camping aisles for holiday returns!

I know people say not to buy cheap tents for Roo, but I have a tent that has been to 2 Bonnaroos, one all night campout for a basketball game, and one fraternity campout (the boyfriend borrowed it), and it's still doing just fine. I got it at Academy for $40 last year.

Last year i used an old army like canvas tent that my dad bought 20 years ago and i just put a tarp over the top for shade and added rain protection and it was perfect and dark inside. I got many compliments. It will be with me this year too.

I got a 2 piece 10x10 sun shelter at Walmart today for $55. it is very heavy and looks like it is one that pops up.
Target had some for less but they looked like they had more pieces. Target also had a bunch of clearance tents and camping stuff. Lots of good stuff on sale right now.

Yeah, I was at Target last night and made a pit stop at the camping supplies. There was A LOT of stuff on sale. Most of the lanterns and camping grills were 50% off.
The Colts EZ-Ups that gloaming101 mentioned are still available on ebay for $35 including shipping. I got one (and I'm not a Colts fan). The price was just too good.
Just search "colts slanted gazebo" on ebay. or seller castlekings17.
If you're looking for the small MistyMates that look like this:
there's an eBayer selling them for $7.99 with $2.50 shipping. Definitely a good deal. Normally $17 before shipping at mistymate.com. Has a bunch for sale as "buy it now" (in other words, no need to monitor the auction; just buy it), here: cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110294392669. Ends Tuesday, Jan. 27.
Thanks for the steepandcheap recommendation. I got an awesome tent for only $150 and it comes with a lifetime warranty. I also bought some socks and a pair of pants. This site is awesome!!

This is a really good deal, I can pretend to be a Colts fan for $35.
Troo, can you let us know what the quality is like when you receive the canopy?
These guys have some neat stuff; countycomm.com/ the website isn't the easiest to navigate but they have some neat camping/survival/military type gear. I've ordered from them before and had no problems. I've bought a bunch of these LED lights, countycomm.com/light10.htm countycomm.com/acusoled.htm countycomm.com/light.htm and for the prices ($1 or ~$2 w/ clip) they really can't be beat, they are sturdier than you'd think for the price.
i just got a ez-up type canopy w/ half side shield at k-mart for $60. haven't set it up yet but i plan on it today. ill let you guys know how it seems to hold up.
