Sunday January 18th on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial "The Boss" is going to perform for free, totally open to the public- Arethra Franklin is rumored as well to make an appearance. I live in DC and never saw Bruce before and if he may be at Roo it may be a good research project to go see him (although he will probably play all his big hits for the masses of middle class that will be inundating DC for the Inauguration, I wont judge him). Roo and DC are two different beasts. GOBAMAROO.
You know, I look at Free SPRINGSTEEN the same way I look at ROO SPRINGSTEEN.
I'm not willing to pay big $$ to see the Boss but I wouldn't miss a free show in my area.
In the same sense, I'm already going to be at Bonnaroo and if the Boss is there headlining (which means the only show in that time slot) I'll be there and I'll damn sure enjoy it!
