I love seeing the snow on the ground! I think it's really cool.
A couple of weeks ago my boyfriend and I were driving from Scottsboro, AL to Murphreesboro and we went through Manchester. I drove REALLY slow on the interstate when we went by the farm! ;D
Is it possible to get on the farm to take pictures? Or are you behind some kind of fence?
Dude, I seriously can't concentrate on anything but bonnaroo right now. . .It's to the point where I'm poking myself in the eye with foreign objects. . . I think I just need to be sedated until Tuesday. . . . Dystopian Dream

I would never condone any sort of illegal activities, however unless they repaired it, there is a severely mangled gate off of Bushy Branch rd. where I have witnessed some hooligans squeezing through with their cameras.
good work! Although, seeing the farm so cold and lonely does give me an uncomfortable, depressing feeling, I know that in a few short months we will all be there, sweating, singing and dancing under those tree, filled with green leaves
I just, JUST, like an hour ago, confirmed with my editor, the days off I need for 'Roo. So 2009 will be my fifth 'Roo in a row and I can't wait!!

If I make it to Roo this year, I am making it my mission to find the dragonmobile and the Mr. T-mobile (not to be confused with cell phone provider T-mobile!)
Wow, it's weird to see the fountain from this angle -- it looks like a completely different place. Peaceful in a different sort of way. I've seen pics of the farm through the years of off-seasons, but none has struck me like this one. Thanks for that.
Always good to hear from you bella Such a pleasure to see your post again

Howdy, Clark! I hope you're well and enjoying days filled with peace and harmony.

I wanted to do that last year but I forgot. It will definitely be one of my top priorities this year. Maybe they'll actually use them this year.
Great pictures. About two, maybe three years ago I surveyed the Bonnaroo site, it was pretty surreal experience... what used to be fields of thousands upon thousands of people diminished to nothing more an awkwardly placed arch and fountain.

the fence at the main gate is frequently broken into. It is currently repaired, but that usually doesnt last long.
I have heard of local kids getting arrested on the weekends for sneeking into the roo grounds. I am too old and with wife and kids to be doing some nuts like that! ;D

Well we stopped by on a monday or something. And my lady DID get pictures of the dragon thing, but last time I posted the pics, I got in trouble by the MODS because we may or may not had slipped through the broken gate.

As has been said before, the Admins and Moderators of this board have a very good relationship with the organizers of roo.
That said, by allowing pictures that were taken while someone was trespassing is akin to us condoning the trespassing. Something I think they would look down upon (I know I wouldnt be too happy if I found out people were trespassing on my property)
If you have some kind of proof that you had permission to be on the property and to take the pictures, then by all means, please share, but if they were taken while trspassing, then you can pretty much expect that they will be taken down. Sorry man!

Yes I agree totally! However my girlfriend is a photographer and somewhere along the line nobody told her trespassing was wrong, So I often end up being an accessory to her photojournalist crimes (mainly I try to make sure she doesn't get shot.)
