Aside from Okonokos I haven't heard of MMJ selling a live show. Has anyone listened to this? Is there anything special about (besides the specialness of all MMJ live shows). Anyone know anything about a Ryan Pickett Production? Just trying to to get some information before I buy it. Thanks for the input! _________________________-
Live from Las Vegas - Exclusively at The Palms ryan pickett presents, in association with pickettmax films: candles and panties ‘08 - the iTunes ep - LIVE in las vegas! a ryan pickett production.
the purpose of this ep are to provide the listener with a sensual and deeply personal method for relaxational listening. it is to be enjoyed on a candle-lit bench, a secluded nook, or a sensuous dinner party. under the careful guidance and watchful eye of ryan pickett, we have developed a highly pleasing method of subtle sensation! who knows how deep thine gentle touch? please to enjoy this ep!
I just downloaded it and I think its pretty sweet - but I'm a die hard Jacket fan so take that for what its worth. Apparently it was recorded live in a studio at the Palms. So there wasn't a crowd or anything.
There's a nice, laid-back vibe to it. Try to imagine MMJ as a Vegas lounge act and that will kind of give you an idea of what this EP is like. I'm really digging it, listening to it right now.
Its got some really nice reworkings of some of their old songs and one new song (Dear Wife).
Its short, but sweet at just over 20 mins.
Tracklist: 1. Tonight I want to Celebrate with You 2. Dear Wife 3. Knot Comes Loose 4. Nashville to Kentucky 5. They Ran 6. Thank You Too

^^^ My friend just passed this to me last night, and that is a good description, MMJ as a vegas lounge act
I think this is perfect for a candlelight dinner, or while taking a bubble bath, or snuggling under a warm fuzzy blanket on a cold cold night, it's soothing like that
I'm about to go out for a walk in the 17 degree city, and I'm hoping this album will help keep me warm while I am out there
This is what was posted about it on the site I dl'd it from.....
