Hey all DC peeps and those in town for the Inauguration - 9:30 is holding a Rock the Vote concert with Michael Franti, Talib Kweli, The Dresden Dolls,The Honey Brothers, Jamie Burke + others they aren't naming yet.
Bonus is that if you have to head into the city for this, you'll be going the opposite direction of everyone else!
Doors open at 8pm. I've already bought my ticket - anyone else in?

There are so many amazing concerts going on in DC in the next few days. But I'm petrified to try and go into the city, for fear of the traffic... and the throngs. Yes, the throngs.
If I had the money, I'd probably to the The Black Cat's shindig with Andrew Bird, Tortoise, Ken Vandermark and a bunch of others.
