Flea Joins Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart In Reformed Faces Band Records First Album In Over 30 Years
Rod Stewart According to NME.com, The Faces have apparently completed writing their first album since 1973's Ohh La La. Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart made the announcement last November that they were reforming and have since confirmed Red Hot Chili Peppers' bassist Flea will be joining the band.
Ronnie Wood revealed that the album was written on a trip he and Stewart took over Christmas, reportedly visiting Costa Rica, Bermuda and Miami
"We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, movie gods, and rock stars. But we wont, and we're slowly learning that fact & we're very, very pissed off......."
Whoa! thats fantastic news the Faces have a few forgotten jewels floating around out there, plus I love the fact the Rod Stewert and Ron Wood look exactly the same...except for the hair
Too bad, I'd really would have like to see them again. Saw what I think was their last American show at the Boston Garden. They were all drunk as lords. Remember seeing them open bottles of Jack, pass them around on stage then hand them into the crowd. I think Frampton was the opener... Ah good times and hazy memories...
