I could only say '08 because '07 was the first year I'd heard of Bonnaroo and the first year I went to Bonnaroo, so. But '07 was the shit. '08's lineup bored me.
I'm a big fan of 2005, but you know i think everyone's first year is special, but there is atleast one thing every year that makes have to go back, even though I think last year was pretty weak I still saw some kick asss stuff like MMJ, Pearl Jam, and seeing Levon Helm was a dream come true.
honestly though, it wasn't that much of a tease, i mean that page wasn't there before and now there are links they are testing. That means SHIT IS GOIN DOWN SOON! weeeeeeee!

i've been to 06, 07, 08... my easy favorite was 06. 07 was interesting cuz i went by myself haha... last year was craziness but the lineup could have been better... i think it at least equaled 07. well maybe. i just want another 06 that was the sh*t. but it will be hard to beat, since im a die hard radiohead fan... im also crazy into led zep and pink floyd.. last years led zep rumors left me in slight disappointment.. they only sang one zep song... although i waas crazy happy when it came on.. one of my favs goin to california.. how bout roger waters? he put on a SICK show in west palm...

I guess I am in the minority, but i liked 08. Loved Metallica, Pearl Jam, B.B. King, Robert Randolph (When Robert Plant was at the side of the stage with me up front, I honestly thought he was gonna finish singing Whole Lotta Love!!!!), Les Claypool, Ghostland Observatory and The Lee Boys...they all were excellent in my book.
I honesly still think 07 was the best year. Tool and The Police. 06 was just ok to me, nothing spectacular. I also am not a huge Radiohead fan (I honestly consider them second all time to most overrated band ever behind U2) but Tom Petty was cool, specially when Stevie Knicks came out.
My biggest complaint in 08 was B.B. King played at the same time as Ben Folds.

I'm really dissapointed that my first 'roo was 07. radiohead is my favorite band... i listened to them everyday for almost a whole year. Seeing so many people love the '06 line up, personally, depresses me. Was there something else besides radiohead that made '06 so great... please say yes..............

I feel like this year's lineup is going to rival the 2005 lineup in terms of collaborative possibilities. I think there will be more cross pollination between sets and acts than ever before.
