Is there an option for moderators to move one thread into another thread? By this I mean if someone starts a new thread with comments that are interesting or relevant, but best belong in an existing thread, could a moderator take that posting and move it to it's proper place? The mod could then lock the existing thread with a comment on where it can be found.

I don't know about Proboards - but I know in Invision Boards, we can merge topics and frequently do. I would have to go over to Infovoodoo and play with it - but I would think if it could be done - the mods here would have done it already
I think I know how you could do it. You could do it using the quote feature. First quote the redundant thread in the correct thread with an added comment like "moved from another thread". And then lock the redundant thread.
