Hey there. I live in Lexington. And there is usually something going on. As in shows, not so much...we've got lotus twice in the last two years, bela fleck and the tones come around often..but those would have to be the biggest names that we get imo.
I have a many good friends from Florida...what part of lexington are you moving to??

I'm actually moving to Winchester but all the same I guess.
I was looking for shows coming up but it appears Ill be driving to Cincy or Louisville.

Rumpke Mtn Boys at the Fishtank next friday, I'll probably go check it out w/ a friend or a few...It's mi boi casey's birthday. We've had a nice little run for the last three weeks, my bday/eliot lipp, stith/his band, case dogg/rumpke mtn.

I'm representing Bowling Green. Thankfully I'm only about an hour from Nashville so there's never a shortage of good shows to attend. I'm originally from Bardstown though, so Louisville used to be my go-to city for excitement. I love that place.

From Henderson? I live very near Tell City and my fiance is from Owensboro (affectionately called The O-Show-Bizzy, don't ask me why!)
As for shows in KY, you will get a few in Lexington but you will have to drive to Cincy or the Ville to see most. I even drive to Nashville, Indy or farther depending on the show and circumstances.

a convoy from Kentucky sounds like a decent idea!
Kentucky plays in the NIT Quarterfinals tonight against Notre Dame. Should be a good game but man, it feels WEIRD watching the NIT. Way back when, the NIT used to be bigger than the NCAA tourny, but now, just seems strange UK in it. Now I know how Louisville, Indiana and Florida felt all those times they were in the NIT and UK was running through March Madness.

As far as I know we're still down for a KY convoy. We'd be leaving from Owensboro, could possibly meet up with everyone in Bowling Green? A bunch of crazy @ss Kenucky Roo'ers together is sure to turn out to be a really good time!
